Life in General...

Life has been crazy lately....working long days, busy weekends, no time to stamp :(

I'm hoping tomorrow will be a restful day and I can get some cards stamped. In between laundry and some house cleaning.

I was able to stamp a few more birthday cards in between taking Tanner and a friend to the skate park, going back and forth to give them something to eat and then going to get them when Tanner called and said Kyle hurt himself...that was a fast trip to the park. He just sprained his ankle,,thank goodness. I will try to get the cards scanned and posted tomorrow...I've been busy watching the Hallmark channel...great movies all day.

My health is better, I've got the high blood pressure under control now with medication. I've been able to stamp and here are the lastest. Enjoy!

Health issues...

Wow, it's been quite a long time since I've posted anything. My health issues started a week ago. HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE!! 155/104; 186/98; 175/110. Haven't been to work in a week either. Not liking using up my PTO for this. After taking my BP at Wal-mart 2 days in a row....my husband took me to urgent care (cheaper than the ER). They put me on BP meds and I seen my regular Dr. the next day and she changed it to something different, well by Thurs. I was still lightheaded/dizzy and scared to drive to work, so seen the Dr. again and he gave me permission to stay home the rest of the week....stopped at the clinic today, my BP was 118/86, but my pulse is very high at 120,,and no I wasn't running a marathon. So I've been on the couch for a week now and doing a bunch of nothing, my house looks it too. I've got a very lazy husband (addicted to EVERQUEST, god I hate that game). My son does his chores every day,,,which helps me alot, but the house is still a mess.

Well, back to the couch,,or actually time for bed...it is 11:33 p.m.

Vacation!

Starting today I have 6 days off. I hope to get lots of stamping done in the next few days. Lots of BBQ's and family birthday parties to go to over the weekend, so it will be a busy 6 days.

I needed to make 2 birthday cards yesterday. One for my BIL and one for my niece (Father/Daughter). My BIL plays in a Blues Band called Steelhead Blues and they played at the Blue Pepper in Salem last night. My son Tanner and I went over to listen to them play,,they were very good. Tanner even enjoyed them. It was a bit of a surprise for my BIL, but after several family members showed up,,he knew something was up.

Work...

Work has been just crazy the last 2 days...I can't wait for the weekend to get here in hopes that I get to stamp. I have bridal/baby shower invites to get made for my niece that is getting married in June and having a baby in Sept. So we are doing the 2 showers together...I think it will be fun. Another niece of mine had their baby on Sunday evening...a little boy. Ryan Michael, weighing in at 6 lbs. 9 oz. and 20" long. I haven't got to see him yet, but I hope to soon.

Hope everyones week is going better than mine.

1st Birthday Party!

Today was my friends grandsons "1st" birthday party. I made him a name frame with his favorite character from the movie "Cars". His mom and grandma just loved it. I also made him a card using the SU set Toy Box.

The party was fun...and he sure was a mess after eating his cake. Happy Birthday Cody!
